Classes for children ranging from pre-K through 12th grade will begin Sunday, Sept. 22. All classes will be held at the new congregation's temporary location at the Green Elementary School on Walnut Lake Road in West Bloomfield. Students pre-K through second grade meet once a week on Sundays from 9:30 a.m.-noon. The third- through sixth-grade students will meet twice a week on Sundays from 9:30 a.m.-noon; third and fourth grade on Tuesdays from 4:15-6:15 p.m. and fifth and sixth grade on Wednesdays from 4:15-6:15 p.m. High school — seventh through 12th grade — will meet on Monday nights from 6-8 p.m. with dinner served. B'nai mitzvah dates through 2008 are now being accepted. Children with special needs are welcome. A Tot Shabbat schedule is available. Divorce Support Group Meets A new divorce support group will begin at Temple Israel this fall, designed to help those going through divorce let go of the past and move on to a new future.
