The City of Southfield is seeking a seasoned. professional with at least 5 years
of directly-related experience to administer the City's retirement programs,
which consist of two defined benefit pension plans (general employees, and
Act 345 Fire & Police), a Retiree Health Care Benefits Plan and Trust, and the
457 Deferred Compensation program. Responsibilities will include plan
administration; interpretation, communications and counseling; financial
reporting; governmental reporting and disclosure; development of adminis-
trative policies and procedures; liaison with plan consultants. Extensive infor-

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration or public admin-
istration with an emphasis on accounting, finance or a related field is required.
