SOURCEBOOK 2002-2003 • JN

When Jim and Mary Lark opened The Lark in
1981, they created the kind of restaurant they
would like to visit. The dining room, which
resembles a Southern European Country Inn,
overlooks a brick-walled garden, where more
than 100 different varieties of herbs are
grown. Most diners come to celebrate special
occasions and opt for the five-course fixed
price dinner, which gives them the
opportunity to select from a variety of
appetizers, soups, salads and main courses.
A sumptuous dessert trolley completes the
dining experience.

"We've hac three Bat
ViNahs there. Everyone
was wonderful, from the
caterer to the clergy. The
Teals were fabulous, and
the ceremonies were
beautiful."

Bill and Nancy Handelman, West Bloomfield

premises kosher catering.
