They will also focus on home- land security measures, intelligence gatherings and how life has changed for many of the families of the vic- tims. From 1-4 p.m. Tom Brokaw will anchor live reports around the country as well as moderate a town hall meet- ing with family members, survivors and rescue workers. From 4-6:30 p.m. Brian Williams will anchor a news program summa- rizing the day's events. This will be fol- lowed by an additional one-hour edi- tion of NBC Nightly News, in which Brokaw will focus on the ways the 9- 11 attacks have changed the country and world. Other Highlights Among its other PBS special pro- grams, Detroit Public Television- Channel 56 will broadcast Requiem for Sept. 11, a 10 p.m. live concert from Liberty Park, a New Jersey park overlooking the Statue of Liberty and downtown Manhattan. HBO will rebroadcast its documen- tary In Memoriam: New York City, 9- 11-01. A&E and the History Channel will run a continuous scroll, listing the names of those who died in the attacks. The listing gets under way at 8:46 a.m., the time the first plane struck the World Trade Center. Fox will broadcast the two-hour The Day America Changed, with Shepard Smith at Ground Zero and Greta Van Susteren at the Pentagon, and will pick up live feed from the Fox News Channel, which along with fellow cable news outlets CNN and MSNBC, will offer round-the- clock coverage with a 9-11 theme. National Public Radio, heard locally on Detroit's WDET-FM (101.9) and Ann Arbor's WUOM- FM (91.7), is devoting its entire day to Voices of Reflection, a live collec- tion of reports, interviews and music. The two local stations will carry much of the national NPR programming. ❑
