Walk Of Honor

ongregation B'nai Moshe members rolled
two joyous occasions into one sunny
Sunday on Aug. 25.
More than 250 members gathered
around the West Bloomfield synagogue's main
entrance to dedicate and unveil a new brick Walk
of Honor — then headed to participate in the syna-
gogue's annual membership picnic.
Jerry Isler of Farmington Hills, co-chair of the
Walk of Honor with Pearlena Bodzin of Southfield,
welcomed the group, while Rabbi Elliot Pachter •

and Cantor Earl Berris led prayers and song.
President Larry Gunsberg of West Bloomfield
talked of the synagogue's past and future. The fund-
raising event yielded 236 engraved bricks, with par-
ticipation from synagogue members and supporters.
The membership picnic featured plenty of activi-
ties, including a moon bounce, arts and crafts and a
dance demonstration by Amy Friedman of Studio A
Center for the Arts in Commerce Township.
Wendy Brickner chaired the picnic.

Bloomfield stays close.
