The bride is the daughter of Dr. Jeffrey Zaks of Farmington Hills and Susan Zaks of Wolverine Lake. The groom is the son of Lin and Ron Klein of West Bloomfield. Lisa's maid of honor was her sister Alana Zaks. Her bridesmaids were Jill Bruss, Rashelle,Centor, Lori Goldenberg and Jodi Rankin. Jason's best man was Ryan Kaluzny. Rabbi Kenneth Katz officiated. Louise is the daughter of Ethel Goldstein of Farmington Hills and Isadore Goldstein of West Bloomfield and the mother of Elizabeth and Sara Maier. Bruce is the son of the late Robert Thomadsen and the late Jane Thomadsen and father of Rapahel and Jordan-a Thomadsen. Bruce and Louise reside in Madison, where Bruce is a medical physicist at the University of Wisconsin and Louise heads the Dane County parks volunteer program, the Adult Conservation Team. Both being from the Detroit area, they spent most of their lives within a couple of miles of each other, but only met when they were "matched" by a friend in their congregation. .
