Of Kollel Torah Mi'Tzion

Rabbi Shlomo and Tali Sobel

This is the third year the Sobels will
be in Detroit with Kollel Torah
Mi'Tzion. Rabbi Sobel, 32, studied at
Merkaz HaRav Kook and serves as
rosh kollel (head of the kollel). The
couple is from Rishon ETzion in
Israel, where they both taught Jewish
studies: They will live in Southfield
for the year with their son and daugh-
ter, Yosef, 5, and Yiska, 3. Both Rabbi
Sobel and Tali, 31, teach high school
Jewish studies classes at Akiva.

Yossi and Chamutal Revach

From Ofra in Israel, this is also the
third year in Detroit for the Revach
family. Yossi, 29, teaches high school
Judaic subjects at Akiva; Chamutal,
27, teaches Akiva elementary stu-
dents. In Israel, Yossi worked as an
accountant and Chamutal taught
elementary school. The couple and
their three children, Eden, 5, David,
3, and Ori, 1, will live in Southfield
for the year.

Givat Shmuel in Israel, where
Zvi, 26, worked in computer pro-
gramming and Na'ama was a
social worker. Zvi and Na'ama
will teach Judaic studies in Akiva's
high school. The couple will live
in Oak Park for the year along
with son Yehuda, 1.
