also the granddaughter of the late
Emery Weinberger.
Ali is an honor student at Walled
Lake Middle School, where she plays
the cello. She loves to spend her sum-
mers at Tamarack Camps. For her
mitzvah projects, Ali visited the sen-
iors at Coville Apartments in
Southfield and assisted when Beth
Shalom hosted homeless clients from
Alison Brooke Weinberger will be
the South Oakland Shelter. She
called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah
on Saturday, Aug. 31, at Congregation intends to make a donation to Yad
Ezra in Berkley.

Brittany is an
honor student at
Orchard Lake
Middle School in
West Bloomfield.
She enjoys dance, going to camp, tub-
ing and spending time with friends.
She enjoyed her mitzvah projects,
which included different activities
with Farmington Hills-based JARC
and helping on a fund-raiser to send
children with Crohn's disease to
camp.

West Bloomfield are proud
to announce the engage-
ment of their son Michael
to Elizabeth Wiggins, daughter of
Robert and Jackie Wiggins.
Michael holds a degree in electrical
engineering and is pursuing a second
degree in percussion performance from
Oakland University. He performs in the
musical group Mataphysical Jones.
Elizabeth, originally from Long
Island, holds a bachelor of music degree
in vocal performance from Oakland
University. She is working as a music
teacher while pursuing a master's degree
in ethnomusicology.
The wedding is planned for next
summer. Michael and Elizabeth became
engaged while camping in Colorado, at
the top of Pike's Peak.
