Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer Allan Gilmour at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at the JCC in West Bloomfield. The presentation is titled "Being Out in the Workplace." Gilmour will discuss his experience as a gay man in the cor- AL. porate world. Allan Gilmour Gilmour joined Ford Motor Co. in 1960 as a finance staff financial analyst and later was supervisor of financial presentations. He was assistant to the executive vice presi- dent of finance before joining Ford Motor Credit Co. as executive vice pres- ident of administration. He returned to Ford from retirement in May 2002. The lecture is free. JCC Board Member Debbie Levin is chairing the Gilmour lecture. The event is the first of a three-part series hosted by MJAC's ECHO Program (Educating the Community About Homosexuality Through Outreach), titled "Being Out: In the Workplace, in School and at Home." Working in pairs, CASAs assist the Family Court of Oakland County in making decisions as to the appropriate- ness of legal guardianship placements.
