cumcision.
He awaits a pretrial
hearing on a misde-
meanor charge of
operating a vehicle
under the influence of
liquor-first offense in
connection with a
June 18 incident in
Commerce Township.
Cantor Greenbaum
told the Jewish News
on Monday that he
read the following
words to my congre-
gation" this past
Shabbat, Aug. 24:
"I want to thank
Beth Shalom and the
entire .community,
both Jewish and non-Jewish, for the
outpouring of support you have
given me and my family, in light of
the recent events in our lives. We
have always described our shul, our
synagogue, as the most friendly, the
most caring.
"I've experienced that friendship
and caring firsthand. I•know you
will understand that in light of my
current situation, I can't offer any
additional information regarding the
traffic incident, which occurred
