ule for its study series "Where is
God?" which continues 1-4 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 25, at Congregation
Beth Shalom and 7-10 p.m. Monday,
Aug. 26, at the Irving & Beverly
Laker Education & Youth Complex.
Ruth Bergman's study session on
Aug. 25, "Connecting with God
through our Physical Selves," will
meet from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. Nehama
Glogower's session, "Where is God
When We Are Burying a Loved
One?" will meet from 2:30 to 3:30
p.m.
Rabbi Paul Yedwab's study session,
which will meet Monday, Aug. 26,
from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m., has a new
title: "There Are No Atheists in
Birthing Rooms."
While most of the sessions in the
series are appropriate for all level learn-
ers, one is especially designed for those
who are comfortable learning with
Hebrew and Aramaic text: "Finding
God in the Covenant — In Rabbinic
Sources." It will be taught by Howard
Lupovitch, which will meet on
Monday, Aug. 26, from 7:15 to 8:15
p.m.
Advance registration is encouraged,
but walk-ins are also welcome. Tuition
is $15 per program date ($10 for sen-
ior citizens and collegians) or $7 per
study session ($5 for senior citizens
and collegians). Jewish educators,
Jewish communal agency staffers, and
high school students are welcome to
