Ann Arbor School Names New Staff CAREGIVERS STRESS MANAGEMENT Thursday, July 18, 2002 Presented by: Diane Hischke, R.N., M.S.N. A new co-head kindergarten teacher will join Ann Arbor's Hebrew Day School staff this year. Israeli-born Ronit Goutkovich will serve this fall in the kindergarten with veteran teacher Kiersten Goutkovich comes most recently from Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington Hills, where she worked for six years, teaching in stan- dard classroom and multi-age settings. She will serve as Hebrew specialist for older children in need of additional reinforcement in the immersion pro- gram. Williams joined the staff two years ago. Prior to that she taught at the Torah Academy near Philadelphia and has worked with autistic and deaf chil- dren at a special education day camp. HDS will also welcome Dina Shtull- Leber, who will serve as interim director for the 2002 2003 school year. She most recently served on the faculty of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit's Alliance for Jewish Education, teaching Jewish enrichment to early childhood educators, as well as adult education courses through the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School. HDS, a community school which serves 100 local Jewish students in grades K-5, was created 25 years ago. Enrollment comes from all the area's congregations and movements.
