accidentally, frequently being used
as human shields amongst military
targets.
They have now taken the lives of
innocent American citizens abroad!
This should crystallize to the rest of
the world what President George W.
Bush so correctly stated last
September: "You are either with us
or against us." Where is the world
condemnation against this most
recent horrific act perpetrated in
Israel, against innocent Israelis,
Americans and Arabs?
When Israel kills a Palestinian ter-
rorist leader or civilians by accident,
there is world outcry, as well as calls
for United Nations sanctions and
condemnations. The world's silence
now is deafening. These were young
students, whose only mistake was
being in the wrong place at the
wrong time.
We Americans should completely
support America's fight against ter-
rorism and the support of our
homeland. We need to continue to
stand by Israel in the defense of her
very own survival and to fully
understand that her enemy is our

enemy also!
Israel: deserves our complete,
unwavering support in her fight
against terrorism, as she has and will
continue to give us. She is the one
ally, particularly in the Middle East,
we will always be able to count on.

Guard Against

Farmington Hills

I've been meaning to write since the
article on the Holocaust Memorial
Center's move to Orchard Lake
Road in Farmington Hills ("A
Dream In The Making," June 28,
page 16).
Now that the demolition has
begun, I must report a disturbing
observation: the design photo
[which is displayed at the site]. The
area including the representation of
candle flames looks remarkably like
and that
Ku Klux Klan hoods
must not occur!
Please be mindful of how many
people will visit. Let's soften the
look to welcome, not fan the flames
of hatred that our memorial fights
against by its very existence.
