2002/2003 UMS Season

Beth Shalom Sets
Member Drive

Congregation Beth Shalom is under-
taking a membership drive that will
kick off with "Picnic, Prayers and
Pops" on the Patio II at 6 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 23, at the synagogue.
There is no cost for the program.
Shabbat dinner will be followed
by a family sing-along and services
under the stars. The educator for
religious school and youth, Rabbi
Tziona Szajman, and the early child-
hood director, Barbara Katchke, will
speak.
New members will receive 15
months of membership, including
High Holiday tickets for 2002-
2003. To make reservations for the
evening, call Beth Shalom, (248)

New Sisterhood
At Keter Torah

Keter Torah Synagogue has elected
officers for its new sisterhood.
Serving as officers are Marcia
Harris and Susan Alspector, co-
chairs; Marla Zerbib, secretary;
Nettie Mazur-Taubes, treasurer;
Devora Cohen, religious advisor.
Committee chairmen are Sylvie

The next meeting of the Keter
Torah Sisterhood will be held 7:30
p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, at the home
