HAPEL

Hamtramck for nine years before retiring.
Mr. Hauptman enjoyed his family and
friends and liked movies and going to the
casino. He served in the Army during
World War II, earning the Silver Star for
his achievements in the South Pacific.
Mr. Hauptman married his "sweetheart"
from Mt. Clemens High School, the for-
mer Claire Betty Siegel in 1946.
He is survived by his wife, Claire
Hauptman; daughters and sons-in-law,
Stevie and Ralph Magid of Farmington
Hills, Robin Robert of Torrance, Calif.,
Delores and Jesse Arnold of Port Huron;
sister, Martha Rehner-Quarne of Marine
City; grandchildren, Lauren Zamler,
Ryan Robert, Dawn (Leonard) Mattox
and Suzanne Arnold.
Services were held at the Beth
Tephilath Moses Synagogue followed by
interment in Beth Tephilath Moses
Cemetery. Contributions can be made to
the Beth Tephilath Moses Synagogue,
146 South Avenue, Mt. Clemens, MI
48043 or to a charity of one's choice.
Arrangements by Dorfman Chapel.

ADELE HOLLAND, 86, of Bay City,

died July 31, 2002.
She is survived by her sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Sanford N. and Carole
Holland of Phoenix, Ariz., Lee S.
Holland of Phoenix, Michael H. and
Kolene Holland of Bay City; grandchil-
dren, Keith and Linda Kingston, Jodi
Kingston; great-grandchildren, Amanda
Kingston, Caitlyn Kingston. Mrs.
Holland was the beloved wife of the late
Joe Holland.
