Come HOME for the Holibmis

Spirituality

Do you remember the warm feeling of awe and tradition and
of belonging you had when you went to Shul on Yom Toy with
your father and grandfather?

To have that feeling again — or if you have never had it and
would like to - join us for holiday services at Congregation B'nai
David. We have 110 years of experience so our services will be
just as you remembered, but with changes to fit your modern
lifestyle. Let the wonderful voice of Cantor Ben-Zion Lanxner put
you in the proper state of Teshuva (Return). Come with your
spouse, children, parents, or significant other, so they, too, can
enjoy a very traditional holiday.

Our High Holiday services this year will be held in the
Rosenberg Hall of the Jewish Community Center in West
Bloomfield. Rosh Hashana services will be held on Saturday
Yom Kippur
and Sunday mornings, September 7 and 8.
services will commence with Kol Nidre on Sunday evening,
September 15, and continue all day on Monday, September 16.
Yizkor will be recited Monday morning. And you haven't heard
anything until you've heard our Chazzan blow the Shofar for the
final time at the conclusion of the holiday service.
