married in New York. Judge Jerome
Leitner officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Bill Wharton of Tallahassee, Fla.
The groom is the son of Sylvia Aaron of
Boca Raton, Fla., and Art Freedman of
Bloomfield Hills.

Also participating in the ceremony
were Mark and Marcy Freedman, broth-
er and sister of the groom, and Floyd
and Annie Wharton, brother and sister
of the bride.
Following a two-week honeymoon in
Spain, the couple reside in New York,
where Michael is with Innovations with
Wallcovering and Marty is a writer and
producer of television documentaries.

enee and Jerry Gerger
recently celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary
at a luncheon at Morels in
bingham Farms. During a beautiful cer-
emony, they renewed their vows with
family and friends as witnesses. The
party was hosted by their children,
Zach, Stuart and Marna, David and
Denise, as well as their grandchildren,
Aaron, Rebecca, Jeremy, Rachel and
Dessa. Amanda arrived two weeks later.
Family and friends from England,
Toronto, Virginia, Washington state and
Washington, D.C., North Carolina and
Florida were hosted at a frill weekend of
festivities.
