ORT Chooses
New President

Elaine J. Beresh is the new president of
the Michigan Region of Women's
American ORT. She is a long-serving
ORT volunteer, including to its resale
shop, ClothespORT.
Beresh is a board member of

Ahm and vice
president of its sis-
terhood. She is a
docent at the
HolOcaust
Memorial Center
in West
Bloomfield. She is
a member of the
Women's League
for Conservative
Elaine Beresh
Judaism, Jewish
Women
International,
Hadassah and Amit Women. She is a
volunteer and committee member of
the Jewish Community Center of
Metrtopolitan Detroit's book fair.
Joining Beresh on the executive com-
mittee are: vice presidents, Laurie
Chudnow, Sharon Chudnow, Debbie
Levin and Sandra Schecter; treasurer,
Robbie Sherman; recording secretary,
Robbie Segel. Immediate past president

Dance Troupe
Seeks Members

The Jewish Community Center of
Metropolitan Detroit's all-women
Festival Dancers group is seeking to
add dancers.
There will be an audition and an
opportunity to try a technique class on
Thursday, Sept. 5, from 10 11:30 a.m.
at the Jewish Community Center in
West Bloomfield.
The Festival Dancers, led by Harriet
Berg, is celebrating 37 years of dancing
and entertaining in the community.
