Obituaries Kever Avot — The Graves of our Ancesto SOPHIE "SUNNIE" TAIT, 66, of Ann Arbor, died July 28, 2002. Prior to retirement in June, 2001, she was a public school librarian. Mrs. Tait was artaccomplished story- teller, a recipient of the Washtenaw County Council Literacy Award and an original founding member of the Schoolfolk Storytelling Group. She was also a graduate of Wayne State University with a bachelor's degree in literature and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a master's degree in library science. Mrs. Tait is survived by her hus- band, Charles Tait; son, Michael Tait; daughters and sons-in-law, Elayna and Steven Weisel, Andrea and Igal Razon; grandchildren, Benjamin Shai, Jonathan Razon, Jordan and Jeffrey Tait, Marty and Aviva Weisel; brothers and sisters-in- law, David Feinstein and Ann Abrams-Feinstein, Eddie and Gloria Baker Feinstein. Services and arrangements by Hebrew Memorial Chapel. BEATRICE B. WIGLER, 83, of Colonie, N.Y., died July 23. She was born in Detroit, where she resided for many years. She later moved to Alexandria, Va., and had been a Capital District area resident since 1954. Mrs. Wigler was a diamond expert and was employed by the former Jewel Box Jewelry Store and Jaccard Jewelers in the former Northway Mall. She later was employed as a department manager at Kovette's department store and workd for a time at Kinney Shoes, also in the mall. During the 1970s, she was employed at the Hilton Music Store in the mall, where she won a free trip to a training seminar in California. In her later years, Mrs. Wigler worked with son Melvin and her late husband, Bernard, in the operation of their woodcraft and jewelry busi- ness known as the Jewelry Galleries. Mrs. Wigler is survived by her sons, Melvin J. Wigler of New York, Gerald Wiegler of Florida; grand- children, Keith, Todd, Wendy and April Wiegler. Interment at Clover Hill Park Cemetery.
