Eliza of Portland. He was the
beloved husband of the late Ethel
Slater and father of the late Daniel
Slater.

FANNY STERN, 92, of Bal
Harbour, Fla., formerly of Detroit,
died July 23, 2002.
She is survived by her daughter
and son-in-law, Paula and Jack
Strickstein of Scottsdale; son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. Bernard and
Toni Stern of Florida; grandchildren,
Ira and Kemi Strickstein, Dr. Aubrey
and Erin Strickstein, Steven and

Rachel Stern, Melissa Stern, Leah
Stern, Ellie Stern, Michael Lemme,
Joseph Lemme, Anthony Lemme;
great-grandchildren, Larry, Emma,
Nora, Seth, Anna, Meredith and
Kiera. She was the beloved wife of
the late Meyer Stern.
