Beth El's big band beat he July 14 "Those Were the Days" concert at Temple Beth El brought . together more than 1,200 area seniors. The sixth annual event, sponsored by the Sally and Harry Nosanchuk Family Caring Community Fund of Temple Beth El, attracted scores of residents from senior living facilities and members of seniors' groups. Performers at the concert were Beth El Cantor David Montefiore, Big Band Express and the Temple Beth El Dancers. The program fea- tured the music of such greats as Count Basie, Les Brown, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller and Harry James.
