Finsilver has been living with essential tremor (tremor of the hands, head and voice) for more than 40 years. She is the founder and leader of the Michigan Tremor Support Shari Finsilver Group, which meets at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield. Her other community involvements include serving on the advisory board of the Center for Jewish Healing and involvement with many programs at Temple Israel. Mark S. Reinstein of Ann Arbor has been named president and CEO of the Mental Health Association in Michigan, a statewide advocacy organization for per- sons with mental dis- orders. He has been the chief spokesper- son of the Southfield agency on issues related to mental health needs and services in Michigan.
