• Courtesy Drivers — 1-3 hours, 1
day weekly. Provide transportation
for older adults to doctor appoint-
ments, outpatient surgeries or run
errands.
Meals-On-Wheels — 1 morning
weekly. Packers and drivers are need-
ed.
• AGJAM (Advisory Group to
Jewish Agency Management)—
flexible time commitment.
Qualified Jewish retirees have been
assembled into a volunteer corps of
executives and professionals whose
mission is to provide pro-bono con-
sultation upon request to the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Detroit,
its member agencies, or to other
Jewish communal organizations,
schools, synagogues, etc.
• Supportive Community — 1-2
times yearly. Take a homebound
individual to and from out-patient
surgery, fix a minor house problem,
shovel snow or trim bushes.
