Darchei. Torah Provides Meals Beth El Names Brotherhood Head Yeshivas Darchei Torah will sponsor the Summer Food Service program for children. Free meals will be made available to children 18 years of age and under or persons up to age 26 who are enrolled in an edu- cational program for the mentally or physically challenged if the pro- gram is recognized by a state or local public educational agency. The meals will be provided with- out regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex or disability. Meals will be provided from Monday, July 1, through Friday, July 26, at Yeshivas Darchei Torah, 21550 W. 12 Mile Road, Southfield. Tisha b'Av marks the anniversary of the destruction of the first and second temples, the exile of the Jews from Spain and many other tragedies in Jewish history. On Saturday evening, the Book of Eicha (Lamentations) will be chanted by members of the Adat Shalom clergy, and adult and teenaged members of the congregation.
