hen developer David
Johnson first saw
Turtle Lake, his
heart fluttered. "My
heart has been pounding ever
since," says Johnson. And rightfully
so. The Turtle Lake Community is
breathtaking. This Bloomfield Hills
property boasts a stable, boathouse
and 80 building sites with dramatic
views. Open spaces and nature pre-
serves provide the perfect land-
scape for boating, hiking or fishing.
For the grand opening in May,
Turtle Lake hosted a fashion show
by Neiman Marcus and a vintage
car exhibit. Citrus colors in florals,
stripes and prints, mixed with strap-
py sandals and mules, are the sea-
son trends. In contrast to the bold
fashion hues, the lush palette at
Turtle Lake is sparkling blue water
and eco-green vegetation.
