Associate Director, Campaign
Seeking a personable, organized Associate Campaign Director to help direct the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Detroit's 30M + annual campaign, including Major Gifts, Young Adult
Division, New Gifts and Campaign Events and Programs.
Responsibilities
• Assists the Director to manage and supervise a talented and highly motivated team of
professional and administrative staff.
Functions
as the senior support to the lay leadership of the Annual Campaign and the
•
respective management level committees.
• Serves as steward and developer for major gifts and community level donors.
• Fosters a culture of first class donor service and "zero defects."
• Implements a program for new donor cultivation that will grow the Campaign.
Required Talents
• Seeking 3 - 5 years of management experience in the financial resource development arena,
preferably in the Federation system.
Proven
strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, presentation, analytical
•
and supervisory skills.
• Possesses the ability to work effectively with all levels of lay and staff resources.
• Demonstrated solicitation and closing skills.
• At a minimum, an undergraduate degree with a master's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of the Detroit Jewish community a plus.
