Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Michelle Lynn Aliseo, daughter of
Russell and Natalie Aliseo, will cele-
brate her bat mitzvah on Saturday,
June 22, at Beit Kodesh Synagogue
in Livonia.
Michelle attends Riley Middle
School in Livonia. She loves sports
and plays on a soccer and a basket-
ball team. She also is very active in
Girl Scouts and holds the rank of
cadet. Her mitzvah projects are
helping out at Yad Ezra in Berkley,
visiting nursing homes on a regular
basis and helping as an assistant
with a junior Girl Scout troop. For
her bat mitzvah, she has requested
that guests bring food to fill baskets
for Yad Ezra.

Zachary Adam Cohen, son of
Eileen and Fred Cohen and brother-
of Kayla, will cele-
brate his bar mitz-
vah on Friday,
June 21, at
Temple Israel. He
is the grandson of
Rose Cohen, the
late Herman
Cohen and the
late Gussie and
Ben Brown.
Attending Dunckel Middle School
in Farmington Hills, Zachary likes
baseball, basketball, football, com-
puters and collecting baseball cards.
Volunteering with the Detroit-based
Coalition On Temporary Shelter at
a homeless center was his most
meaningful mitzvah project.

Scott Brandon Felsenfeld, son of
Sandra Felsenfeld and Dr. Joel
Felsenfeld, will become a bar mitz-
vah on Saturday,
June 22, at
Temple Israel. He
is the brother of
Brett. His proud
grandparents are
Shirley and
William Felsenfeld
and Chaja Cherny.
He is also the
grandchild of the late Sigmund
Cherny.
A student at Walled Lake Middle
School, Scott likes composing
music, aggressive skating, basketball,
skateboarding, drawing and playing
the guitar. He found it very mean-
ingful to volunteer at the Holocaust
Memorial Center in West
Bloomfield and to assist at the tem-
ple's kindergarten.
