Kadima Hosts
Golf Classic
Southfield-based Kadima will
host the first Kadima Golf
Classic, in honor of Milton Y.
Zussman, at Franklin Hills
Country Club in -Farmington
Hills on Monday, July 15.
Registration and lunch will
begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by
a shotgun start at 1 p.m. There
will be cocktails at 6:30 p.m. and
a strolling dinner and awards at
7:15. The classic will end with a
raffle and auction at 8:15. All
proceeds will benefit the Kadima
Mental Health Drop-In Center.
That center will be a venue for
clients to gather and enjoy social
and recreational activities with
their peers in an atmosphere of
friendship and acceptance. Staff
will be available to offer support,
encouragement and guidance.
Participation in organizing .
programming and activities will
provide opportunities for clients
to re-learn the skills necessary for
them to function more fully in
the community.
Kadima is a nonprofit, non-
sectarian mental health agency. It
offers residential, counseling and
supported employment services
to adults with psychiatric disabil-
ities.
