crystalline tube tops and micro-
crepe pants.
"I wanted this collection to have
the true feel of sportswear; great
pieces that are sexy and elegant,
yet never lose their polished look,"
said Allard.
The shirt stole the show.
Whether tailored, cropped, curva-
ceous or long and narrow, shirt
silhouettes added new dimen-
sions to '70s-style pants and

pleated or bias-cut skirts.
Two new fabrics, doubleface
suede and microcrepe, hugged
the body, while matte silk crepe
and coutille provided contrasting
drape.
And Allard wasn't shy about
mixing colors to punch up her
whites. Pineapple, tangerine and
peach starred with meadow, grass,
deeper olive and lagoon blue.
Allard accessorized her collec-

tion with bold, chunky necklaces
and belts that ran the gamut from
skinny to double-wide.
