of the Michigan Conservative movement, invites you
to come, learn, and celebrate with us on June 18

Erin is a student at Tappan
Middle School in Ann Arbor. She
enjoys dance, lacrosse and comput-
ers. She looks forward to her sum-
mer experiences at Camp Walden in
Cheboygan and is going to partici-
pate in the JCC Maccabi Games in
August. She has made donations to
the Myasthenia Gravis Association
and Mott's Children's Hospital at
University of Michigan in honor of
her bat mitzvah.

Daniel Marc Pogoda will be called
to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, June 8,
at Congregation
B'nai Moshe. His
proud parents are
Lori and Maurice
Pogoda. His
brothers Adam-
and Michael also
will participate in
the Shabbat serv-
ice. Proud grand-
parents are Shirlye and Peter
Helman. He is the grandson of the
late Sylvia and I. Edward Pogoda.
Daniel is a seventh-grade honor
student at Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. He is an accomplished actor
who has performed in numerous
theater productions. In addition to
acting, Daniel enjoys playing tennis,
playing the piano and hanging out
with his friends. For his mitzvah
projects, Daniel worked with senior
citizens at the Fleischman Residence
in West Bloomfield, spent time with
Farmington Hills-based JARC resi-
dents and packaged food for Yad
Ezra in Berkley.

Scott Jordan Sonenberg, son of Julie
and Dan Sonenberg and brother of
Andy, will celebrate his bar mitzvah
Saturday, June 8,
at Temple Israel.
His proud grand-
parents Charlotte
and Dr. Meyer
Arbit and Shirley
and Jack
Sonenberg will
share in the sim-
chah.
An honor stu-
dent at Walnut Creek Middle School
in Walled Lake, Scott has interests
that include basketball, Tamarack

games. He found it meaningful, as
part of his mitzvah project, to volun-
