ear Readers:
Ballots are arriving daily for the JN SourceBook-sponsored
Readers' Choice Awards for Jewish Detroit. Don't miss your
chance to tell us what you like best about our community. Everyone
has favorites -- we want to know yours.
It's not too late to vote. Inside this issue on page 106 is a ballot just
the right size for faxing to (248) 539-3075. You also can vote online at
www.detroitjewishnews.com or you can pick up ballots at our office,
30301 Northwestern Highway (in JARC's Farmington Hills building),
or at many area businesses in the community.
We're sure you'll enjoy the results of this lighthearted reader survey
— and, hopefully, you'll find many of your favorites among the win-
ners.
There has been one change in the Readers' Choice Awards ballot
since it was first distributed. We've decided to eliminate the categories
of favorite rabbi, cantor and mohel because a popularity survey could
be construed as undignified or demeaning for the respected religious
leaders of our community.
Thank you in advance for your input and the role you'll play in
making JN SourceBook's first Readers' Choice Awards for Jewish
Detroit a success.

Shabbat shalom!

Keri Guten Cohen,
JN SourceBook editor
