Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Chad Brandon Cooper will cele-
brate his bar mitzvah on Saturday,
June 1, at Temple Israel. He is the
son of Tarnmi and Mitch Cooper
and brother of
Jared. His proud
grandparents are
Barbara and Jerry
Abramson and
Gloria and Len
Cooper. He is the
great-grandson of
the late Faye and
Max Reikob.
An honor stu-
dent. at Walnut Creek Middle
School in Walled Lake, where he is
on the student council, Chad enjoys
movie making, guitars, sports col-
lectibles, computers, theater, travel
and Tamarack Camps. He volun-
teered at the Holocaust Memorial
Center in West Bloomfield and
worked at the Temple Israel Labor
Day picnic as part of his mitzvah
projects. He also volunteered on a
weekly basis at the temple's religious
school.
