"I primarily enjoy doing musicals," says Schore, an optometrist who lives part of the year in California, where he has appeared with Howard Keel Susan Tauber - in Shenandoah. "It's fun to watch audiences react," says Schore, who has been affiliated with Congregation B'nai David and helped start the Brandeis AZA Chapter. Susan Tauber has taken lots of dance classes and feels well prepared to dance in Evita. With St. Dunstan's for five years, she was encouraged to join by a friend, who also had a strong dance background. "I love the music in this show," says Tauber, a senior lab technologist at Henry Ford Hospital and a member of the Young Adult Division of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit. Tauber, a Farmington Hills resident, also enjoys working backstage with makeup and costumes. She appeared 'last year in a musical revue celebrating the 60th anniversary of Temple Israel. Cindy Korn, a third-grade teacher in Detroit, is making her stage debut as a chorus singer and dancer. Her musical training has been in instrumental music, and she plays the saxophone and clarinet. "It's been interesting meeting people from different walks of life sharing an interest in theater," says Korn, of Bloomfield Hills, whose family belonged to Congregation B'nai Moshe. "Theater is really a good way to forget any worries of the day." Peggy Lee, assistant music director of Evita serving as vocal coach, is in - her ninth year with St. Dunstan's. Offstage, she is getting serious about converting to Judaism. Lee's interests in theater and religion were sparked by two different friends. "I like the catharsis I get from taking a new role, and I like the feeling when I attend Jewish services," says Lee, a Royal Oak nanny.
