ENTERTAINMENT

Mollie Elaina Blanchard-Brown will
read from the Torah on the occasion of
her bat mitzvah on Saturday, May 25, at
Temple Israel. She is
the daughter of
Phyllis B. Brown
and W.R. "Buck"
Blanchard. Her
proud grandparents
are Sylvia and Louis
Brown.
Mollie attends
Abbott Middle
School in West
Bloomfidld, where she is an honor stu-
dent. Her interests include the perform-
ing arts, music and tennis. Her most
meaningful mitzvah project was making
dolls for hospitalized children during the
Temple Israel Mitzvah Day. She also
contributed to the Michigan Humane
Society.

Brandon Scott Cohen will become a bar
mitzvah on Saturday, May 25, at
Havdalah services at Temple Israel. His
parents, Leslie and
Barry Cohen, broth-
er, Ian, and grand-
mothers, Helen
Cohen and Fay
Dreispan, will share
in the simchah.
An honor student
at Abbott Middle
School in West
Bloomfield, Brandon likes movies, the-
ater, tennis, hockey, snowboarding, bas-
ketball and travel. He worked as a vol-
unteer at Menorah House in Southfield
and at Denby Center Orphanage events
in Dearborn as part of his mitzvah proj-
ects.

Stephanie Brooke Eisenberg will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, May 25, at Congregation Beth
Ahm. She is the daughter of Jill and
Mark Eisenberg and
sister of Adam.
Stephanie is the
granddaughter of
Sarabel Panter and
David Eisenberg and
the late Benjamin
Panter and Estelle
Eisenberg.
Stephanie is an
honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. She enjoys reading and
competitive dancing. Her mitzvah proj-
ects included volunteering at Beth Ahm's
summer camp and spending time at
Elan Village assisted living center in
Southfield.
