Evan Borteck, son of Lynn and
Robert Borteck of Pine Brook,
N.J.
Daina earned a bachelor of arts
degree at University of Michigan
and a master's degree at
University of Surrey, London,
England.
Andrew earned a bachelor of
arts degree at University of
Michigan. Both Daina and
Andrew are enrolled in Cardozo
Law School, New York City.
A July wedding is planned.

Bloomfield Hills are
delighted to announce
the engagement of
their daughter Sabrina Joy to
Brian David Kaufman, son of
Karen and Jerald Kaufman of
West Bloomfield.
Sabrina earned a bachelor of
arts degree in psychology from
Oakland University. She will
receive a master of science degree
in human resources administra-
tion from Central Michigan
University in June and is
employed as a technical recruiter
and human resources liaison at
Adecco Technical in .Troy.
Brian earned a bachelor of sci-
ence degree in business adminis-
tration from Cleary College of
Business. He is vice president
and a partner of Kaufman
Insurance and Financial Group LLC
in Southfield.
An August wedding is planned at
Temple Israel.

BLANK 50TH

Blank celebrated
their 50th wedding
anniversary on April
19. Their children, Barbara and
Roger Trunsky, Ron and Kathy
Blank, Andy and Beth Blank,
surprised them with a weekend
of celebration in Florida. They
will also commemorate the spe-
cial occasion at a later date with
their grandchildren, Ryan,
Steven and David Blank, Jacob, .
