DEPARTMENTS
D
ear Readers:
Here's your chance to brag
about the best of Jewish Detroit
— and there's plenty to toot our horn
about. As one of the nation's most
vibrant Jewish communities, we've got
something for every stream of Judaism
and every Jewish taste.
The hard part is choosing what we
like best. That's why we need you to
cast your vote in the first annual
Readers' Choice Awards for the best of
Jewish Detroit. The results will appear
in September's annual JN SourceBook,
your complete guide to Jewish living in
metropolitan Detroit.
Got a .favorite bagel shop? Have a
favorite place to hold a simchah? Enjoy
a particular cantor's voice? Want to rec-
ognize an outstanding religious school-
teacher? Need to know who has the
seven-layer cake to die for?
Tell us your favorites — and we'll
tally the votes. Look for official
Readers' Choice Awards ballots inserted
inside this issue or find them at area
stores, synagogues and both Jewish
Community Centers, or vote online at
www.detroitjewishnews.corn
Ballots are due by June 20. And don't
worry about postage. Just complete the
ballot, fold, seal and drop it in the mail.
Let the contest begin!
Thanks for your input.
