FREDA ROSEN, 90, former resident of
Detroit and Hallandale, Fla., died May
8 in Albuqerque, N.M. In Detroit, she
was an active member of Congregation
Shaarey Zedek and of Hadassah, for
which she served as treasurer for many
years. She later served on the board and
as treasurer of the Golden Surf Towers in
Hallandale.
Mrs. Rosen is survived by her daugh-
ters and sons-in-law, Dr. Deborah and
Dr. Edward Klevans of State College,
Pa., Dr. Anne Rose and Dr. John Cope
of Albuqerque; grandchildren, Linda
Klevans Manning and Will Manning of
Waltham, Mass., Jennifer Heitler-
Klevans and David of Philadelphia,
Stephen and Laura Rose of San Jose,
Calif; great-grandchildren, Ari, Jason,
Sienna. For 52 years, she was the wife of
the late Alfred Rosen; grandmother of
the late Susan Rose; sister of the late
Lenore Morris and Hilda Lattin, Irving
Jacobs, Albert "Sandy" Jacobs, Dr.
Howard Jacobs.
