Jewish Heritage Night...
"Here 0 Israel: A Personal Reflection"
Michigan BBYO sponsors a series of three Jewish Heritage
Nights each program year, which are underwritten by a grant
from Levi Strauss BBYO (Mt. Clemens) alumnus Noah Wofsy of
Washington, D.C. Jewish Heritage Nights bring to BBYOers
important Jewish issues and concepts in a creative and
meaningful format.
Pictured seated in front are YLC II coordinators Beth Harris of Ahavah BBG and

"Here 0 Israel: A Personal
Reflection" was the theme
of the second BBYO Jewish
Heritage Night, held
February 17, 2002, at
Congregation Beth Ahm.
The featured speaker was
Zohar Raviv, past BBYO
Shaliach and current
Doctoral student at the
University of Michigan.
Pictured in silhouette,
Zohar calls out to the youth
as the Kotel in Jerusalem,
asking them to come to
Israel.
The final Jewish Heritage Night will be held May 19 on the
topic: "Moses on My Mind: Jewish Ethics and Values," and will
feature Rabbi Lee Buckman of the Jewish Academy.
