Rabbi Daniel Syme and Cantor Stephen Dubov officiated. Amanda is the daughter of Jill and Howard Gurwin of Bloomfield Hills. Seth is the son of Carolyn and A. Stuart Tompkins of Farmington Hills. Amanda's longtime friend Marisa Forman was the matron of honor, and Lia Forman was the flower girl. Amanda's bridesmaids were Jackie Gurwin, Emily Tompkins, Jennifer Anthill, Renee Tighe, Jenelle Collins, Amy Sonne and Amy Floden. Seth's longtime friend Jeremy Friedman was the best man. Groomsmen were Brian Gurwin, Craig Koltonow, Daniel Heidt, Jacob Abraham and Marshall Brown. Amanda and Seth were pleased to have their grandparents participate in the ceremony. Seth's grandmothers Ruby Tompkins and Lottie Koltonow were escorted by his uncle Leonard Koltonow. Amanda's grandparents Cheryl and Harold Blumeno and grandfather Martin Gurwin were escorted by her uncle Marshal Gurwin. Seth and Amanda honeymooned in the Mayan Riviera and reside in Berkley.
