BBYO Remains
Committed to Israel

BBYO as an organization remains committed to support the state
of Israel.
* BBYO, in partnership with Oranim Travel of Kfar Saba, is still
holding its 28-day Outdoor Adventure program from July 3-30,
2002, for AZA and BBG members. Further information may be
obtained at www.travel4teens.com .
* BBYO has partnered with Oranim and Birthright Israel to bring
BBYO seniors an incredible opportunity to explore Israel for ten
days for FREE with other BBYO seniors from across North
America. The trip will take place in July, 2002. Further
information may be obtained at www.funtour.co.il .
* BBYO is committed to its Staff Mission To Israel, which will take
place June 2-11, 2002, and will involve BBYO professional and
support staff from throughout the United States and Canada.
* The International Boards of the Aleph Zadik Aleph and the B'nai
B'rith Girls have come together to create a plan of action called,
"BBYO 4 Israel," which will have three components:
1) Members will be calling the White House with messages in
support of Israel.
2) Members will receive pre-written letters to the White House
and Congress supporting Israel, which they will then sign
and mail.
3) Each AZA/BBG chapter is being asked to participate at this
emergency time for Israel by raising $1000 for the American
Red Magen David in Israel (ARMDI). This is the
organization that funds ambulances and other emergency
medical needs.
