ming, tennis, the computer and family
and friends. She also enjoys attending
Camp Ramah in Canada. Marnie vol-
unteers at Beth Ahm day camp and
enjoys spending time with seniors at
Fleischman Residence in West
Bloomfield.

Saturday, May 4. -
She is the daughter
of Dr. Susan
Sherman and Mr.
William Hirschhorn
and sister of Shoshana and Max
Hirschhorn. Her proud grandparents
Morris and Frances Sherman and Hilda
Hirschhorn will share in the simchah.
Rebecca is also the granddaughter of the
late Leo Hirschhorn.
Rebecca attends Orchard Lake Middle
School in West Bloomfield, where she is
an honor student and plays violin in the
orchestra. She enjoys piano, animals and
all sports, especially basketball. As part of
her mitzvah project, Rebecca volun-
teered at Yad Ezra in Berkley.

Seth Gordon Levine of Huntington
Woods will be called to the Torah as a
bar mitzvah at Congregation Beth
Shalom on Saturday,
May 4. He is the
son of Charlene
Gordon and Steven
Levine and brother
of Emily. Proud

David and Evelyn

Gordon. He is also
the grandson of the
late Ed Gordon.
Seth is an honor student at Norup
Middle School in Oak Park, where he
participates in Future Problem Solvers,
Quizbowl and plays cello in the orches-
tra and with the Dearborn Youth
Symphony. His mitzvah projects includ-
ed visiting the seniors at the Coville
Apartments in Southfield and volun-
teering when Beth Shalom housed the
homeless. His major project is raising
money for Chai Lifeline.
