The Michigan Board of Rabbis

Rabbi Daniel S. Nevins
President

February 8, 2002 / 26 Shevat 5762

Rabbi Paul Yedwab
Vice President

Dear Friends,

Rabbi Elliot H. Pachter
Treasurer

Rabbi Marla J. Feldman
Executive Director

It is a great pleasure for me, on behalf of the Michigan Board of Rabbis, to
congratulate the Jewish Community Center as it prepares to celebrate
seventy five years of leadership in our community. The JCC enriches
Jewish life here on a broad variety of levels. People of all ages, interests
and abilities find a stimulating and warm environment at the two
campuses of our JCC.

As the rabbinic leaders of this community, we have had the pleasure of
working closely with the JCC on numerous projects both recently and over
the past decades. The Jewish community has gone through bewildering
changes over 75 years; the JCC has provided continuity and strength
through all of these changes.

May you all take pride in the fine work of the JCC, and may you find
strength to expand and deepen your mission of service to the Jewish
community. We look forward to continuing our partnership for the good of
our community and indeed of the entire Jewish people. Mazal tov!
