VOLUNTEER!)

of I-EADASSAI-E sends

its heartfelt thanks to

NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK
APRIL 21-27, 2002

4

n honor of National Volunteer Week, we in Greater

Detroit Chapter of Hadassah applaud the efforts,

strength and solidarity of our members. This is a dark and sad time

in the history of the Jewish People. The people of Isragt are in mor-

tal anger, targeted by homicid bombers. Yet, they continue their

_

daily lives. 1-ladassah is the second largest employer in the State of

Israel, after the government. With rong membership support, we

are able to help the people of Israel through employment. Human

life is precious and our new Center for Emergency Medicine at

Hadassah Universit

e rem`saves lives everyday.

Each of us asks:

riends nd family in Israel?

Join with us in Hadassah. Br in

where hope is hard

-

to find. Becoming a member is an ac ton that everyone can take in

our own backyard. We are very proud of each and every member

and all that they accomplish. Together we can make a difference.
