Alan Shawn Feinstein, a Rhode Island philanthropist,
is encouraging food banks across the country to raise money for the

Feinstein Challenge
Against Hunger

The Food Bank of Oakland County, serving 200 emergency food pantries,
shelters, and soup kitchens (including Yad Ezra, J.A.R.C., and Mishkan
Israel)
has accepted Mr. Feinstein's challenge! Here are Mr. Feinstein's rules:
• All checks must be dated for either March or April 2002
• All checks must be at least $25 or more
• All checks must be made payable to the
Food Bank of Oakland County

Our goal: $200,000
Since March 1st, we have raised: $94,000

We need your assistance to meet our goal and we only have a few
short weeks to go. Please help us to make a difference today.

*The amount we receive from Mr. Feinstein will be
determined by the amount we raise in relation to other par-
ticipating food banks.
