Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Elizabeth Brooke Drucker will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah
on Saturday, March 23, at
Congregation Beth Shalom. She is
the daughter of Lori and Allan
Drucker and older
sister of Michael
and Emily. Her
grandparents are
the late Beverly
and Henry Witte,
the late Ann and
Sam Drucker and
the late Paul
Schimmel.
Elizabeth is a
seventh-grader at Hillel Day School
of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills, where her
favorite subject is English. She also
enjoys cooking, dance and writing
poetry. She has also enjoyed being a
Tamarack camper for the last four
summers. Volunteering at Yad Ezra
in Berkley has given Elizabeth a lot
of satisfaction as well as volunteer-
ing at the Alzheimer's Association.
She is involved with her seventh-
grade class at JARC.

Stephanie Ashley Gooel will cele-
brate her bat mitzvah on Friday,
March 22, at Temple Israel. She is
the daughter of Lisa and Bruce
Gooel and sister of Lauren, Jenna
and Michelle. Proud grandparents
are Jo and Edward Simon and
Elaine Kaufman. She is also the
granddaughter of the late Richard
Gooel, the late
Myron Kaufman
and great-grand-
daughter of the
late Bert and
Alma Gooel.
An honor stu-
dent at Orchard
Lake Middle
School in West
Bloomfield,
Stephanie is interested in travel soc-
cer, AAU basketball, piano, snow-
boarding, tennis and spending sum-
mers at Camp Tamakwa in Canada.
Her most meaningful mitzvah proj-
ect was volunteering at the
Fleischman Residence in West
Bloomfield; she also prepared meals
when Temple Israel housed the
homeless.

Morgan Taylor Klein will be called
to the Torah on the occasion of her
bat mitzvah at Temple Israel on
Friday, March 22. She is the daugh-

ter of Manette and
Marshall Klein
and the sister of
Devin. Her grand-
parents are
Margot and Dr.
Sander Klein and
Helene and Daniel
Lublin.
Morgan attends
Walnut Creek Middle School in
Walled lake, where she is an honor
student and a member of the bas-
ketball team. Her interests include
playing baseball, attending Pistons
games, music and going to Camp
Tanuga in Kalkaska. She found it
meaningful to volunteer at the
Oakland County Food Bank as one
of her mitzvah projects.

Molly Samantha Levenson will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah
on Saturday, March 23, at Temple
Emanu-El. She is the daughter of
Arthur- and
Denise (Shpargel)
Levenson and sis-
ter of Daniel.
Proud grandpar-
ents are Hyman
and Evelyn
Levenson and
Clara Shpargel.
Molly is a sev-
enth-grader at
Norup Middle School in Oak Park.
Her interests are the performing
arts, especially singing, summer
camp and being with. friends. She
also plays with the Berkley Hoops
Razorbacks basketball team. Her
ongoing mitzvah project for the
past seven years is working with the
Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation by doing fund raising
and helping out at Walk for the
Cure support functions.

Melissa Shayna Neuman will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah
on Saturday, March 23, at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek
Southield. Missy
is the daughter of
Hilda and Phil
Neuman of
Farmington Hills
and the older sis-
ter of Joshua and
Eliana. Her proud
grandparents are
Al Schwartz of
Farmington Hills
and Barbara and Donald Neuman
of Scottsdale, Ariz. Miuy is also the
granddaughter of the late Becky
