MILTON H. LONDON , 86, of Farmington Hills, died March 17. He was the owner of Metropolitan Advertising Co, a motion picture adver- tising company. He was also a founder and trustee of the Variety Club Electronic Limb Research Center at the Detroit Institute for Children. Mr. London's affilia- Milton tion with the movie London industry included his being one of the founders and the first executive director of the National Association of Theater Owners, president of the Michigan Theater Owners Association for 20 years, director of the Foundation of Motion Picture Pioneers. His concern for the welfare of others, especially children, led to his being on the advisory committee of the Will Rogers Memorial Hospital, on the board of trustees for the Detroit Institute for Children and a life patron of Variety Clubs International, repre- senting worldwide children's charities. Mr. London was a member of Adat Shalom Synagogue, the University of Michigan 100 Club, the American Technion Society and the Founders Society of the Detroit Institute of Arts. He was the recipient of the Michiganians Award from the Free Press in 1991.
