at Somerset Inn. .. Elegant banquet facilities, adding a "touch of-
class" to wedding days, rehearsal dinners, showers, bar mitzvahs,
birthdays, and-more. Our friendly Somerset staff can provide
professional assistance .

Heat oven to 350F.
Make the crust: Combine all crust
ingredients in the bowl of a food
processor. Stir well to make the crust
dough. Press the mixture into the bot-
tom of an ungreased 8x8-inch baking
pan, going slightly up the sides about
1/4-inch. Bake for 20 minutes.
Make the filling: There's no need to
wash the food processor bowl before
combining all filling ingredients and
processing until well mixed. Pour the
topping over the hot crust and bake
for 25 minutes, or until the filling is
just set (it will continue to set while it
cools). When cool, sprinkle the Lop-
ping well with powdered sugar and,
using a sharp knife, cut into 16
squares or 20 bars. Carefully lift the
bars from the pan (the first square is
the most difficult to remove) and
serve.

treat. Try one of the five variations
below for other interesting drinks.
Lemonade:
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups water
Finely grated peel from
1 lemon (optional)
1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice
(or frozen)
4 cups cold water
lemon, lime or orange slices, or,
fresh berries, garnish

Make sugar syrup: Combine sugar
and water in a saucepan over high
heat. Bring to a boil, turn off heat and
let the syrup cool.
Combine the syrup with remaining
ingredients in a large pitcher (or 2
smaller pitchers).
Other combinations:
1 way: plain over ice
2 way: 1/2 cup grenadine over the
lemonade
3 way: substitute 2 cups of orange
juice for 2 cups of water
4 way: substitute sparkling water for
the water and mix just before serving
5 way: add 1-2 T. of fresh sliced
gingerroot to the sugar/water mixture
