Torah Center Hosts
Summer Israel Trip

Rabbi Elimelech and Chaya Sarat
Silberberg will lead Sara Tugman Bais
Chabad Torah Center's second annual
Israel mission, leaving Detroit on
Wednesday, July 31, and returning
Monday, Aug. 12.
The trip is open to all members of
the Jewish community, singles and
families. Its purpose is to offer psycho-
logical and financial support for our
Israeli brethren in these troubled
times, as well as provide the partici-
pants with an exciting, spiritual experi-
ence. One Shabbat will be in
Jerusalem; the second, in Tzfat (Safed).
Hotels, air fare, most meals, tour bus
and private guide and entrance fees to
tourist attractions are included in the
price.

Ecumenical Model
Seder Planned

The Ecumenical Institute for Jewish-
Christian Studies in Southfield and
Adat Shalom Synagogue will sponsor
the annual model Passover seder 6:30
p.m. Wednesday, March, 6 at the syn-
agogue.
Members and guests are invited to
share the seder and participate in
readings, music, retelling the story of
the exodus and have opportunities for
conversation with Adat Shalom hosts.
Individuals and families are welcome.
The event is especially significant for
church confirmation and study
groups.
There is a $20 per person charge
for the meal and educational materi-
als. Reservations by March 1 are nec-
essary.
