Lord, who is helping to plan the
benefit as well as perform, will be
working on a range of numbers that
will be very different from the ones
in South Pacific.
The variety show starts at 7:30
p.m. Monday, March 4, and the
price of a ticket includes an afterglow.
"This will be the sixth year MJAC has
sponsored the fund-raiser," says Arlene
Sorkin, MJAC executive director.
"Last year, the event raised $28,000."
Each year, all the performers in
one touring company are asked to
participate.
We will do 'If We Only Have Love'
for the finale," says Lord, who will
accompany the entire cast, including
leads Michael Nouri and Erin Dilly, to
the temple for a day of rehearsal before
the production begins. "I've performed

Broadway Cares: Equity Fights AIDS."
