It seeks to imbue its students with a love for learning, their heritage, and the state and people of Israel. Akiva's classrooms includes Internet accessible computers as a learning tool. The Israel connection is strengthened by collaboration with the Kollel Torah Mi'Tzion, a group of young families from Israel who embody the ideals of religious Zionism. The school's leadership includes Rabbi Yigal Tsaidi, educational director, and Dr. Charles Domstein, secular studies principal. Two dozen alumni are parents of Akiva students. Akiva has had more than 300 high school graduates; nine out of 10 high school graduates choose to study in Israel. Many alumni and their families have made aliyah.
